Playform Puts GAN on the Blockchain, Introducing Genesis Projects
At Playform, we pride ourselves on providing easy-to-use, no-code tools that make advanced, cutting-edge technology accessible for artists. So as we saw generative art projects like Art Blocks and Botto succeed in the NFT ecosystem, it made us think about how we could add to our platform to make projects like this possible for all artists who use Playform.
The result is Playform Art Mine, a unique art gallery that invites the collector to participate in the curation of AI-generated art. Each project is trained by an artist using their original artworks as inputs, and the Collector (or “Miner”) can generate each one-of-a-kind result and decide what artworks should be minted to the limited edition collection.
Artists can also customize the smart contract to include incentives, such as community access, events, and more. The AI model, the generation code and the 8 digit code for each artwork are part of the token and can be verified and cannot be altered.

Unusual Fluids

The Code Echo
In The Code Echo, an AI attempts to replicate the style and composition of generative artist Mich. Each original design was created using a series of symbols; each symbol corresponded to a specific alphanumeric character. The original works organized the symbols to create encoded messages, usually simple sentences or common expressions.

Faces of A New World
Faces of a New World imagines an alternate reality where nature takes back its rights and imagine a world with no trace of the human race. Trained on original artworks by artist Irina Raicu and 10% of the proceeds from this project will go to One Earth.
